Friday, June 4, 2010 – Day 7
Alright. It’s Day 7. 393 days to go. Of course, there’s a sense of urgency.
Am I happy with the first week of this deal? Sure. I’ve been getting up at 4:00 a.m. I’ve been taking care of business along these lines every single day.
Have I been doing the most important things each day? For the most part. I’ve been getting my feet wet and figuring out what the challenge is. I’ve been laying the groundwork for my first product. The trick is that things are about to get just a bit harder. I will need to pay even closer attention to what the most important things are.
I had the week off from my day job. That changes in a couple days. So does the fact that I have grandma’s help here.
It will be important for me to stay cool, know exactly what I need to do – and then follow through in the midst of chaos.
Today, I will:
- Finish the “Beer Beach” mock-ups – Behind the Scenes page, Credits, About, etc.
- Lay out a calendar for the next 397 days (in pencil). Figure out where projects fall and what I can expect.
- Type all my notes for my “Daddy Six Pack” project into my blog.
